BAIML are members of the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations (UIMLA) which is our international governing body. We’re represented there by two delegates along with delegates from associations all over the world.
At the recent General Assembly in Namur, Belgium, BAIML member and director Ian Spare was elected as President of UIMLA. Ian will work along with other executive members General Secretary Marie-Anne Berazategui form Switzerland, technical head Bill Bailey from the Czech association, treasurer Gabriel Deramaix from Belgium and vice-president Sylvain Jugand of France.
